For example, they may serve an ad to you promoting my next book based on your interest in books on my site. They may also use information about actions taken by you on the site to determine which of its ads were most interesting to you and how to better serve your interests. Unless you separately opt in to receive news from us, we do not collect personal information about you and neither we nor our third party ad servers use these tracking technologies to collect personal information about you. They may, however, track your Internet usage anonymously (that is, without being able to identify you personally) over time and across other websites in their networks beyond my site.
